August 13, 2012 - Rotax Grand Nationals event sees a change in roles for Joel Jens
With some time off in the racing schedule Joel was asked to trade in his driving uniform for the clothes of a tuner at the US Rotax Nationals held in Southbend Indiana. With the constant changing and never predictable weather all week, Joel realized and how difficult the other end of the sport is. Constant chassis changes that were required with the dry and wet conditions kept Joel and his driver in the Masters class on their toes all week. Joel had fun and learned a lot, but is more that happy to get back in the seat and let his crew do their job on his karts and let him wheel the karts on the track.
